Exploring the truth through my art

I AM a 16-year-old from Singapore and aspire to discover the beautiful things in life.

I feel we are often too busy burying ourselves in our work or other things and neglect to realize all the beauty around us.

I love the way the sky looks when it’s a hue of soft purple in the evening; I love the way daisies bloom, shining bright yellow against the dark green grass; I love the way snow falls lightly, and that there are no two snowflakes exactly the same. The beauty in simple things around us fuels my passion to create art, to capture them and share it with others.

I am also an artist who seeks to uncover the cruelties and unfairness in life. I paint about money as a tool of segregation, society’s judgments muddling one’s introspection and a government’s grip of power. Through my art, I hope to express both the good and the bad in the world. Although I am still young, I express the truth in the world that I see.
