Seminars inform new parents
DURING the first month of this academic year, Shanghai United International School's Pudong campus held various seminars to help parents with new enrollees learn about our school. The first covered the unique curriculum and the second provided strategies parents could utilize to help their children have a successful and rewarding experience.
A third seminar covered our Virtues Project and offered ideas on how to help children develop a strong moral character. For our final seminar, three Grade 3 parents gave a wonderful presentation to new parents, providing insights into what it's like to be the parent of a child in our school. It offered ideas for helping children, resolving school issues, providing support to the teachers and the class, and maintaining strong lines of communication with teachers.
These presentations were great opportunities for new parents to become familiar with our school, our teachers and each other.
