Students hatch farmer aid plan
SHANGHAI American School has more than 150 Cocurricular activities. Among them, students support organizations like the Jacaranda Foundation and School in Malawi, Africa, which helps students orphaned by AIDS. SAS students have also been raising money for charity causes in China. One student started a micro-finance charity called Eggschange that sells eggs to provide Jiangxi Province farmers with a steady income.
