The first step is the most difficult part of a journey

EVERYONE always says "you're still so young," and that "you have so much yet to experience." I never really saw it that way until recently. Maybe it was just a step out of immaturity or a spark in me that was lighted, but I have the drive to make something of myself and to live life to the fullest. It's the start of the new school year and I know it is the time for new beginnings.
Martin Luther King Jr once said: "Take the first step in faith. You don't have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step." His words have inspired me to try whatever I can, take risks and explore whatever is out there in this new school year. I do not know what to expect, but I am sure I am going to put my best effort forward and accept whatever comes my way.
Helen Rowland said: "You will never win if you never begin." How true it is, you will never know unless you have tried, and with that I encourage everyone to use the start of this school year as a fresh start to your life. Every day is a new beginning, so take a leap of faith, try something new and grab hold of your future.
