When 3 lions came walking ...

THE three luminous lions came far enough to see a glistening lake as a mere reflection of the gorgeous and fiery stars on the water. They dug their jagged and smooth ivory claws into the black soil, full of nutrients. They slowly and steadily walked as their diamond rigid bones and muscles went up and down like a swing. The mane being blown back by the sharp chill of the wind was so beautiful and woolly, with an earthy fragrance which filled the air.

The paws of the lions left prints of the miraculous, muscular shape, showing the pointed length of their claws. They had reached the lake. The massive lake filled the air with a moist taste as it was surrounded by a stunning forest. The forest was made of oaks, roses, petunias and small ivy, and much more. Lilies filled the middle of the lake. They had a soft shade of pink, a mixture of the color scarlet and green rough stems sank into the deep turquoise pool of water.

Light ripples came and made the reflection of the mystifying landscape.

Suddenly, the lions' wounds were shining with the starlight beaming on them. Their skin and cartilage being ripped off revealed wide lengths of muscles. Gargantuan stains of blood covered their coats, looking as if the wounds were pouring out.

"We have traveled far, young ones," said the middle lion, "but now we must complete the journey. We are already dead and lost in a spiritual dimension. Now is the time to be reborn from three into one. To come back to the world we once walked upon, Earth."

The lake was glowing just as bright as the lions. The pelts of the majestic creatures had turned into a flaming orange and faded to light brown.

"Once we drink from this pool, we will forget everything!" cried the one on the right, who was the youngest.

"We will be reborn to forget, and we will live to remember," said his older brother, who was on the left.

"Spoken wisely," said the middle lion, who was the oldest.

The lake's silvery light shone more, as if it was eager for them to drink.

The three lions bent down, their tails sticking up. Leaning forward, they stuck their tongues out and lapped up a little water.

At once, it felt as if knives were bursting out of their hearts, and their blood turning to a fire storm. They began roaring in pain and screeching in darkness. They were sucked into a small vortex, and at the same time, a mother lioness on Earth gave birth to a strong-looking, healthy cub which resembled all three of the lions lost in death.
