Work expresses New Zealand and South Korea

I AM an 18-year-old from South Korea. I am a young artist who was raised in many different environments. I was born in South Korea but I spent most of my primary school years in New Zealand and now I live in China.

I was exposed to art while living in New Zealand and it became part of my life naturally. Being a Korean in New Zealand, my cultural identity developed in a unique way. I was accepting other cultures as if part of my own culture.

My ability to share and accept different cultures allowed me to express my artistic styles in a unique way.

Because I apply and integrate different styles into every piece. My way of creating an art piece is like an adventure. I’m inspired by my personal knowledge and experiences and convey and express my opinions. Through art I have found my true voice.
