Tip-toe through the tulips

Xinchang in Pudong New Area is one of four ancient towns in Shanghai and dates back about 1,300 years. Delicate old houses with black tiles, white walls and wooden pillars pack the banks of the river that runs through Xinchang.
The highlight of the day tour is Shanghai Flower Port, which was set up in 2002 and located between Shanghai Pudong International Airport and Yangshan Harbor. From March 21 to the end of April, tulips will be in bloom.
Departure date: March 21, 28 and April 4
Activities: Hotel pick up and transfer to Xinchang. Visit Xinchang Ancient Town in the morning. After lunch, visit Shanghai Flower Port.
Meals: Chinese lunch
Duration: 9am-6pm
• 9am: Guide will meet you in the lobby of Shanghai Hotel (Address: 505 Wulumuqi Rd N.).
• 9am-9:50am: Bus to Xinchang.
• 10am-11:30am: Visit Xinchang Ancient Town and Xinchang Avenue. The 1.5-kilometer Xinchang Avenue is the most prosperous street in the area.
• 11:30am-12:30pm: Lunch.
• 12:30pm-1:20pm: Transfer to Shanghai Flower Port.
• 1:30pm-4:30pm: Visit Shanghai Flower Port. It’s the biggest flower park in Shanghai and the air isn’t as dirty as other parts of the city.
• 4:30pm-6pm: Bus back to Shanghai Hotel.
Tour price: 450 yuan/adult, 350 yuan/child, free for children under 3 years;
6 or more people can form a group;
Price includes:
1. Air conditioned vehicle transfer service through the tour.
2. English speaking guide.
3. First/initial entrance fee.
4. Chinese lunch.
Notes:
