Shenzhen Metro Carries Messages Of Love, and Lonely Singles
A special train along Metro Line 1 in south China’s Shenzhen city began operating on May 8 — with thousands of messages expressing love. And loneliness. The unique train will run daily for a month.

Most of the messages show affection for loved ones, parents, cities or even strangers.
Some messages read:
* “The world is so big. I'd like to show you around. Your loving daughter is working really hard in this big city. (A love letter to parents.)”

* “I know you are really busy — the only thing you need to know is that I miss you.”

* “The city is very pretty, no matter day or night, rain or shine. But if you were here, I would love it even more. Just because of you. ”

Some netizens joked it was really a hard blow to single people.
The train has even been equipped with a singles-only carriage loaded with messages from single people, drawing heated attention online.
Some messages:
* “Hello everyone, I'm single.”

* “I'm waiting for the rain to stop while others are waiting for umbrellas.”

* “My boyfriend is perfect: doesn’t drink or smoke; doesn’t even exist.”

* “I can even screw off fire hydrant, let alone bottle caps, as I have been single for so long.”

* “Being single is the longest-running thing I’ve ever stuck with. ”

* “Now good-looking guys are unexpectedly single, like me. ”
* “Let's call an end to the first half of single life this year, and now begins the next half.”
