Have You Even Seen Such Cute Cartoon Stone Blocks?
The residents of Shenyang, capital of north China’s Liaoning Province are enjoying the cute 20 odd stone blocks covered with cartoon paintings.
The spherical blocks have been turned into “heads” of various cartoon characters. Check this out!
These stone blocks were painted by the students from Shenyang University of Chemcial Technology, as part of the social volunteer work.
They told Shenyang Evening News that they did this because they found the original ones were too boring.
"The grey stone blocks looks so dull, so we came up with the idea of painting them into different colors. Cartoon characters sound good. So we just did it."
A total of 22 blocks were painted by the students. They have become not only more beautiful, but also more eye-catching for drivers to drive safely.
