There have often been sights of annoying acts on public transport, creating splash online regularly.

Such acts include crunching peanuts with legs on the floor of a bus or Metro, spitting out chicken bones, eating as if in a restaurant. Once two students remained liplocked in the metro for as long as 11 stops.

This time it is a case of using bus as a balcony to dry a cloth.

On June 14, a woman in Wuhan was drying her shirt out on the handholders in bus No.14, Chutian Metropolis Daily reported.

A passenger surnamed Wei said that he got on the Mingzhulu-bound No. 14 bus around 7:40am at Chuhanhejie station,. At Shuiguohu station a neatly-dressed woman got aboard the bus and could find no seat. So she stood at the end of bus.

However, she soon settled down only to pick out a shirt with pink strips and hung it on the clothes rack in the corridor.

Shocked passengers remained mum.

The woman confessed to another old lady that she washed the cloth yesterday but could not dry it out. She needed to wear it at work. She had thus no choice but to try drying in the bus.

The shirt brought about uneasiness when the passengers were to get off. They had to shove the cloth out of their way.

The act was not recorded for it did not happen in front of CCTV. The driver surnamed Fu said she didn’t notice it as it was rush hour, otherwise she would have stopped it.

Wei emphasized that he understood her concern, but still found it unacceptable in the public.
