Police Left Bemused by “Monkey King” Driver And A Bus Full Of “Demons”
Traffic police stopped a bus driven by a man who was dressed as “Monkey King” at a checkpoint on National Highway 207 in Jiyuan City of Henan Province on February 7.
When a policeman got on the bus, he found passengers who were all dressed in different characters like “Tang Monk,” “Bull Demon King,” and “White Bone Demon” from the novel “Journey to the West” — one of China’s four great classical novels.
They are all actors who were on their way for a performance. Police let them go after checking the driver’s license.
The funny scene of policemen surrounded by “demons and evil spirits” has gone viral on the social media.
