Woman Changes Appearance After Abducting Baby Boy
A woman had her hair cut and dyed from black to grey after she abducted a 3-year-old boy in Huixian County, central China’s Henan Province, on May 30.
A resident surnamed Lian found his grandson missing around 10am on May 30. Unable to find his grandson, he reported to the police. The woman surnamed Liu who kidnapped the child was later detained by the police.
According to initial investigation, Liu fled the scene by taxi. With the child and the woman both behaving strangely, the driver got doubtful and took a picture of Liu’s side face.
Further investigations showed that 40-year-old Liu changed her appearance by dying her hair and looked like an old woman over 60 years old.
She also changed the girl’s outfit for the boy. The police found the clothes belonging to the abducted boy at Liu’s home.
The police will also reward the taxi driver. Without the key clues he provided, it would have been impossible for police to catch her.
