Boy Saved a 3-Year-Old Girl by Catching Her from Falling
A 10-year-old boy in Fuyang City of Anhui Province saved a young girl’s life by stretching out his arms to catch her from falling from the third floor of a residential building on October 12.
Chen Junbo, a fifth-grader, went back home with his grandmother after school around 11:45am that day.
He recalled that he at first saw a pair of shoes falling from the building where he’s living. When they looked up, they were startled to find a baby girl struggling on a clothes-drying rail outside a window on the third floor.
Chen’s grandmother immediately shouted “help” while a biker passing by called police.
All of a sudden, the 3-year-old girl fell down. Chen rushed to her and stretched out his arms to get her. Both of them fell to the ground due to the enormous impulsion.
The girl’s mother who went out to pick up her son after school rushed back to the scene and sent her to hospital. Thanks to the boy, the girl suffered only arm fracture, while Chen himself didn’t hurt at all.
