Farmer Transforms Bicycle Rims into Fences
A farmer involved in recycling business has built home fences out of almost 200 bicycle rims in Changchun city, capital of northeast China’s Jilin Province.
The farmer came up with this idea when he noticed that his home yard had been filled with recyclable wastes.
He spent three years collecting old bicycles before building the fences, and then separated wheels from abandoned bikes and bonded them with iron wires.
The fences have become so popular in his village that it became a new landmark. The villagers nearby called it “Wall of Rims.” Almost every passer-by would stop to take photos of this unique work of art.
