Firemen Rescue A Trapped Dog In 3 Attempts
Firemen from Gaoqiao fire station in Pudong New Area rescued a trapped dog after three attempts, Xinmin.cn reported.
The fire brigade got a call at 10:45pm on September 19 with the caller saying she could hear a dog’s barking from the sewer. When firemen arrived at the scene, they couldn't hear anything.
They received another report again the next morning at 9:40am and finally managed to locate the helpless dog. Their attempts to get the dog out failed due to limited space in the manhole.
The firemen tried again — for the third time — at 11:49am when the dog moved to a toilet. However, they found a pipe blocked his way to freedom. After getting approval from the owner, the firemen broke the pipe. They eventually managed to rescue the dog.
Firemen gave a bath to the dog from the fire hydrant. Two women, who had called the fire brigade, then took the dog away.
