Girl Found Alive Under Parents’ Bodies among Ruins
A 3-year-old girl survived thanks to her parents’ coverage after residential buildings collapsed early Monday morning in Wenzhou City of east China's Zhejiang Province.
The young girl was saved at 6:45pm on Monday after rescuers dug with bare hands for over 20 minutes when they found a leg under a man’s body.
She was protected by her parents, who were killed in the accident around 4am at Wenzhou’s Lucheng Industrial Zone.
The girl was rushed to the hospital right away. She is now in stable condition.
Twenty-two people have been confirmed dead from the collapse. Only six survived and are now hospitalized.
