Neighbor Helps 3-year-old Girl Trapped in Window Barriers
A famous saying in China goes: A good neighbor is better than a brother far off. It proved to be more than true in what happened on June 4 in Hechi City of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
A woman held a 3-year-old girl trapped amid window barriers for 20 minutes before being rescued by firemen.
The little girl had her head stuck in the barriers outside a window and she went hanging towards the second floor after slipping from her balcony.
A woman living on the ground floor offered a helping hand to the girl child as soon as she heard her cry.
She stood on the shelter without any safety railings and kept holding the trapped girl for about 20 minutes until firemen arrived to their rescue.
The firemen separated the barrier apart and rescued the girl within five minutes. The little girl got some slight scratches on her jaw and was taken to hospital by her father.
