Police Officer Highly Praised for Helping Street Sweeper in Rain
A police officer from Zhuhai City in south China's Guangdong Province became an Internet star after he helped a street sweeper take shelter from rain on September 3.

Zhang Xinyu, the policeman, was off duty on Saturday when he saw a sanitation worker seeking shelter from rain on the street.
Zhang stopped his car and wanted to give him a ride. However, the street sweeper refused to leave as he hadn't finished his work; plus, Zhang’s car cannot accommodate his bike.
So Zhang opened the trunk lid under which the sweeper could take cover from the rain.
A driver who passed by captured the touching moment and later posted the picture online.
Zhang's identity was soon revealed after the photo was widely shared on WeChat: He is a police officer at the Exit-Entry Administration of Zhuhai Public Security Bureau.

Netizens praised Zhang for his good deed and said, "Though he was not on duty at the time, he’s always serving the people."
