Kindergarten Car Doodling Game Causes Internet Debate
Kids doodled on luxury cars at a private kindergarten in Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province to celebrate International Children’s Day on June 1, which has triggered controversy on the Internet. Some parents questioned such events might lead kids to think scribbling on cars was justifiable.
The kindergarten organized various games to celebrate the special day with car graffiti as part of its celebration.
An automobile 4S shop in the city offered several cars and SUVs for kids to doodle on. The watercolor they use is easy to scrub and will not pose harm to the car paint.
One parent asked what should be done if kids wanted to doodle on other cars next time. Another said it was inappropriate for the kindergarten to organize such commercial event on International Children’s Day as it was much like an advertising for the luxury car brand.
One kindergarten teacher said the sponsored event aimed to let children show their natural imagination.
