Man Abuses 2-Year-Old Daughter, Sends Pictures To Ex-Wife
A man who allegedly severely abused his 2-year-old daughter was arrested by Hangzhou police on June 14, local newspaper City Express reported.
The father's abuse aroused great public concern as photos of the daughter with a scarred body circulated on the Internet.
Hebei police got in touch with the netizen surnamed Li, who's the mother of the abused girl in the photos.
According to Li, she got divorced last October. Her ex-husband gained custody of the child. He started beating their daughter this March and deliberately informed the ex-wife every time.
After a quick investigation, the police confirmed the girl and her father to be both in Hangzhou.
With the help of Hangzhou police, the father was taken away by police for further investigation and the daughter was sent to the hospital at 4:05pm.
After preliminary examinations, the doctor said that except bruises, there were no serious injury on girl's body.
The father admitted he had beaten his daughter but it was not so serious. He used paint to deepen the traumatic condition so as to frighten her mother.
According to the report, the police actually found some pigments in his hotel room.
The case is still under investigation.
