Ordered Apple iPhone, Got Pear iPhone
In the recent blockbuster Zootopia, bunny Judy uses a smartphone with the logo of a bitten carrot — just like Apple's iPhone.
But have you ever seen a smartphone with a pear logo?
A young woman in Wuxi, east China’s Jiangsu Province, bought an iPhone 6S online recently. But when she received the product, she just couldn’t believe her eyes:
According to Yangtze Evening Post, the woman surnamed Zhao got in touch with a seller through QQ, a popular online chatting platform, to buy an iPhone 6S. She paid 3,400 yuan (US$525.6) but didn’t receive the cellphone.
Screenshot of Zhao's chat with the seller.
The seller claimed that her iPhone 6S was confiscated by Customs and asked her to further transfer 5,000 yuan for tax. The seller promised return her money later.
Zhao transferred the money and finally received a package after a few days. But she found out that she couldn't use the mobile phone and the logo on its back was a pear!!!
When she asked for refund, she found out that she was blocked by the seller.
Currently, the case is under investigation.
Clearly, one should be careful about shopping online and more if the seller asks for more money giving unnecessary excuses.
