The Shanghai Theater Academy will move some campus admission tests for majors online because of the novel coronavirus pandemic.

This is in response to the Ministry of Education’s notices on epidemic prevention and control.

Majors including theater, literature, theater education, radio and TV programming and film photography will no longer have campus tests. Enrollment will be based on the scores of the applicants’ national college entrance examinations.

Majors in acting, directing, TV hosting, dance and choreography will sit the first round of tests for the judges’ evaluation of the applicants’ online videos.

The second and final round of the admission tests will be held after the national college entrance examination.
