A wave of cold air will sweep China鈥檚 northern regions, bringing gales from last night to tomorrow, according to the country鈥檚 top meteorological authority. Temperatures will drop by 4 to 8 degrees Celsius in the northern and northeastern regions as well as areas along the Yellow River, Yangtze River and Huaihe River. Over the next two days, there will be mild to moderate snow in parts of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and the provinces of Heilongjiang and Jilin.
