China eyes Asia crown

China’s Yi Jianlian goes for a basket against Iran during their semifinal at the 2015 FIBA Asia Championship in Changsha, capital of central China’s Hunan Province, last night. China won 70-57 and advanced to the final, where it will take on the Philippines, which beat Japan 81-70. Former NBA player Yi led the hosts with 13 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 blocks as China saw off the defending champion to make the final after a gap of four years.
